What We Do
Throughout the year, we collaborate with the care coordination team and volunteer services at East Tennessee Children's Hospital to identify how Bella's Blessings can provide meaningful assistance.
Whether it involves supplying clothing, bedding, or organizing a birthday celebration for a patient unable to leave the hospital due to treatment, our objective is to bring comfort and joy to individuals facing significant challenges.
We are committed to supporting these courageous individuals during their most difficult times.

Each Christmas Eve, our family, Cheryl and the beloved mascot from the Knoxville Smokies (Double-A Affiliate for the Chicago Cubs) deliver gift card baskets directly to families admitted to the hospital — a tradition that has grown each year and now serves close to 100 families.

In 2024, we were able to fill 85 cups with over $125 in gift cards to local restaurants, gas stations, grocery stores, pharmacies, and food delivery services to each family that was admitted to East Tennessee Children's Hospital over the Christmas holiday.
Each year Thanksgiving, we begin raising money and collecting gift cards for the Christmas Eve Cups of Blessings.
We reach out to friends, family, local businesses, and corporate partners, and welcome anyone who wants to be part of this incredible effort. Annabella & Josiah light up when new cards come in, knowing that each gift adds to the total we can provide to families in need. They also serve as the official gratitude committee by thanking our partners on social media.

On December 23rd, we spread out all of the buckets in our dining room and fill each one with gift cards, a soft blanket, a stuffed animal, and a note from our family that we will deliver the next morning to each of the families.

While $125 may not seem like much, to someone that is going through the unthinkable, it relives financial burdens and allows for some of their focus to remain where it should be, on their child.
